Standard Hydrogen Electrode/unit-8

Standard Electrode Potential:

Standard electrode potential of a metal is defined as the potential difference developed in a cell consisting of two electrodes, the pure metal being in contact with a molar solution of one of its ions and the standard or normal hydrogen electrode.
